Set Under Set

word type: poker slang

  1. When two players reveal their hand and both show sets with one being of lesser value than the other.

There are two players at the flop. The flop is K T 5 and the first player goes all in, and the second player calls.

Player 1's Hand: TT
Player 2's Hand: 55

In this example, we see that Player 2 has suffered the cooler of having a "Set Under Set" situation.
