Badeucy
word type: noun
- A form of draw poker that is played as a split-pot game.
Rules
Similar to 2-7 Triple Draw and Badugi, players are dealt five cards and have three opportunities to draw cards and make the best hand. The twist in Badeucy is that the pot is split at the end between the best 5-card 2-7 Triple Draw hand and the best 4-card (or 3-card) Badugi hand.
Popularity
Badeucy is still a relatively obscure game, but it has been showing up in the rotation of high stakes mixed games in California as early as August of 2008.
