Chino

word type: poker slang

  1. To borrow money under false pretenses or without a specific way of repaying the loan.

How to Chino

One way to chino someone is to borrow money with collateral, then spend the collateral and have no way of repaying.

Another way of chino'ing someone is to claim that a third party is vouching for the loan being given, when in fact no such agreement is in place.

A slightly less common way of chino'ing someone involves gaining access to an online poker account, often through legitimate means, and blowing through the entire amount of money in the poker account.
