Commerce Casino opened in 1983 and expanded in 2001 to include a luxury hotel and additional gaming space.
Some of the biggest poker cash games in the world are spread at Commerce, and the casino also hosts several tournament festivals, the biggest of which, the Los Angeles Poker Classic (LAPC), takes place each February.
