Aggression Factor

word type: noun

  1. A stat often found in most HUDs that takes any aggressive action and divides it by the number of calls.

Explained

Aggression Factor is a very common HUD stat that gives a nice small number to explain just how aggressive an opponent potentially can be in a hand. The simple equation is:

[Bets] + [Raises] / [Calls]

This number is irrelevant over a small sample size as an opponent could appear very aggressive when in fact they play rather passively, however, many use it in the HUD as after a large amount of hands the number becomes an accurate representation.
