In Omaha, the best strategy is to play well coordinated hands between all four cards. Often times a player will be dealt four cards with three connecting well and one that doesn't at all. This card that doesn't fit is referred to as a dangler. For example, if you have Q-J-T-9 all the cards are coordinated, thus, there is no dangler. However, for example let us say a player was dealt K-Q-J-4, the dangler in that hand is the 4.
