Gold Cards

word type: noun

  1. A random reward issued at Cake Poker Network ring games which can be used for benefits such as a cash lottery and various jackpots.

Explanation

On Cake Poker and its network of sites (such as Doyle's Room), during a ring game when the rake reaches a certain level, the table will issue a Gold Card (such as a golden Ace of Spades). If a player at the table was dealt this card (regardless if they folded or not) during that particular hand, they receive that Gold Card in their account. These Gold Cards can be saved up and used towards daily cash lotteries, the Gold Card 500 (a leaderboard) or various jackpots.
