Controversy and Lawsuit

Soon after Gold's tremendous $12M windfall, a controversy erupted between him and Crispin Leyser, whom Gold had supposedly enlisted in an effort to gain free entry into the event in exchange for giving Leyser 50% of the winnings. Eventually they settled out of court.
