About MAPing

When something is thinking about MAPing, that usually means they're thinking about making a bluff. In poker terms, "making a play" is basically the same thing as "running a bluff". In other words, the player is attempting to win the pot with what they assume is the lesser card holding.

Typical Uses

This guy is thinking about MAPing. I'll insta-snap it off when he does.

I'm going to MAP all-in here. I think he'll fold and, if he calls, I'm 40/60 at worst.
