- A slang term for the cards of the deck with a picture on them, specifically a Jack, Queen or King.
Explained
Since there is decoration and a drawing of a person on the Jack, Queen and King cards they are referred to as "Paint" because they were painted on the cards (albeit by a printing machine) unlike the other cards in the deck.
