Put Me Here

1. The option at many online poker rooms to specify which seat to have a player appear.

Explained

When playing at a site like Full Tilt Poker, if you right click on a specific seat at a table you will see a "Put Me Here" feature. If you then left click on that option, you will then appear at that seat on the table. That will then rotate all other players to keep the order the same while changing the perspective to the desired position.

Does Not Change

It should be of note that this is not the same thing as changing seats at a table, only the perspective.

HUD Implications

If you use PokerTracker or Hold'em Manager you will need to adjust the HUD configuration to let the program know you have changed the perspective of those at the table. If you do not you run the risk of having the HUD stats show up for the wrong people at the table.
