Session

1. A terms used to describe the duration of time that a player begins and ends the action of playing poker.

Explained

The term session is a subjective one but usually refers to a single period of time where a poker player begins and ends the act of playing poker. For example, an online poker player will sit down and his/her computer, open up 6 tables, and play for an hour. That hour is referred to as a single session. However, some pros would say that the same act of playing 6 tables for an hour, then taking a 15 minute break, and then resuming play for another hour is considered a single session.
