The Wynn Las Vegas poker room opened up in 2005 amid a lavish hotel and casino where money was no object in the construction process. The room itself is regarded as one of the nicest in town, however the games are regarded as some of the toughest. The room has drawn criticism for its early policy for not allowing any maximum buy-in for any game, and catering more to higher end clientele. A max buy-in was added in December of 2008 to both the $1-$3 and $2-$5 games. There is no debate, however, that the Wynn is one of the best poker rooms in Vegas.
