Strategy can change depending on when you act in a hand. If you act last, you have the advantage of knowing what your opponents have already done, so you will typically have more opportunity to play aggressively. If you act first, it is more difficult to be aggressive with marginal hands, as there are still players left to act, players who could potentially raise you out of your shoes.
