Dealt Rakeback Method

word type: poker slang

  1. A way of calculating the amount of rake a player accumulates by counting every time that player is dealt a hand in a raked pot.

Explained

As one the two methods for calculating monthly gross rake (MGR), the dealt rakeback method is calculated by counting every time a player is dealt a hand in a raked pot. Most rakeback sites do not use this method, however Full Tilt Poker and Cake Poker are known to use the dealt rakeback method. The advantages of this method are to the benefit of the tighter grinder who will accumulate a lot of rakeback while contributing very little.
