Contributed Rakeback Method

word type: poker slang

  1. A way of calculating the amount of rake a player accumulates by only counting the pots that the player makes a contribution into.

Explained

As one the two methods for calculating monthly gross rake (MGR), the contributed rakeback method is calculated by only counting the times a player puts money in a pot. This seems to be a fairer way of paying out rakeback as only players that put money into the pot receive credit for that pot's rake (and thus counted towards their rakeback deal). If a player did not contribute to the pot, they are not entitled towards credit of the rake under the contributed rakeback method.
