Redraw
word type: poker slang
- A made hand that has a chance to draw to an even better hand.
Commonplace
The term redraw is most often heard in Omaha, as it is common for one hand to be on a redraw to another, even better, hand.
Example
In a game of Texas Hold'em you hold JT of hearts. The flop is 789 with two hearts. You flopped a straight, but you have a redraw to a flush or even a straight flush.
