Pulling the Trigger
Usually you will hear the term "pulling the trigger" in relation to a poker situation in which you must bet or bluff in a very close situation in poker. For instance:
"Firing two bullets on the flop and turn with air is impressive, but can you pull the trigger and fire at the river, too?"
