Most Famous Satellite Ever

In 2003, Chris Moneymaker won a $39 satellite on PokerStars, which awarded him a seat in a larger, more expensive satellite. In that "super satellite," he won a seat in the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event. From there, he went on to win No Limit Hold'em Championship, which captured the imaginations of amateur poker players everywhere and cemented his role as one of the central figures in the poker boom.
