Quick Professional Bio
Scotty Nguyen is a five time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and winner of the Main Event in 1998. His biggest monetary victory was at the 2008 H.O.R.S.E. Championship event and became the first player ever to win a Main Event and H.O.R.S.E. Championship event in a career. Nguyen impressively followed up that showing by winning the LA Poker Classic's $10k H.O.R.S.E. event a few months later.
Not Always a Happy Drunk
Although Nguyen is known for drinking at the tables and being the life of the party, during the 2008 WSOP H.O.R.S.E. event he became unruly and exhibited what many believe to be objectionable behavior.
Nguyen has since issued an apology for the incident.
