Cards Speak

1. A rule stating that once a hand has been exposed, it will not be considered dead.

E.g.

At showdown, a winning hand is shown to the table, but the dealer accidentally pushes the pot to the losing player after putting both hands in the muck.

The player who showed the winning hand is still entitled to the pot since cards speak.
