Exposed Card

1. A card is one that is accidentally shown to players during a hand that was not supposed to be seen.

Explained

Sometimes in a hand a dealer will accidentally fumble a card and have it turn face up. This also happens occasionally when a player mucks his or her cards. The card's value is shown to the table and is referred to as an exposed card.

Rules

Often times the exposed card is shown to all players at the table. This way all players know this card is dead. The card is then thrown in to the muck.
