HORSE and Beyond
A mixed-game is any type of poker game that incorporates different forms of poker into one sessions or sitting. HORSE is probably the most common example, but the acronym can be re-tooled (as it is on FTP) to read HEROS, which presents the same five games in a different order.
8-game is a new and popular variety of mixed game, and in live settings it is quite frequent to see games like badugi incorporated into the mix.
