Checked Around

word type: poker slang

  1. The act of all players in a hand checking during a round of betting.

Example

In a game of Texas Hold'em, there are five players who see the flop. Every player does not bet and checks. To refer to this situation, you would say it has been Checked Around.

Joe Hachem: "So what happened on the flop?"

Phil Laak: "Oh, it just got checked around."
