  1. A draw poker term to describe a 'made hand' that requires no further drawing.

Some examples of pat hands:

- In 5-Card Draw, a hand like a full house or a flush is pat.

- In a game of 2-7 Triple Draw, a hand such as 85432 or 76542 is a pat hand.

- In 2-7 NL Single Draw, requirements for pat hands might be looser than in the previous example, and hands such as 98643 or T5432 will often be pat.
