Brief Bio

Vanessa Rousso began playing poker seriously online as she was too young to visit casinos. By the time she got to Miami law school at 21 she started playing at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. She built her bankroll in Miami as well as on trips to Atlantic City. Since that time she has 11 in the money finishes in World Series of Poker events as well as deep runs in the World Poker Tour, United States Poker Championship and a finals appearance at the 2009 National Heads-Up Poker Championship. She is an activist for the Poker Players Alliance, an advocacy group to help legalize online poker in the United States. She is currently married to fellow PokerStars sponsored player Chad Brown.
