In one of the more successful bids for marketing glory in the history of the WSOP, Khan created a persona in front of the cameras that was alternately garish and outlandish.
Then, a year later, he disavowed the persona, admitting it was a ploy for fame and a way of releasing frustration that had built up from grinding SnGs.
